My Experience
I completed my DONA International approved Birth Doula Training in February 2018 at Bastyr University’s Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations and received my DONA International Birth Doula certification in February 2019. As a birth and postpartum doula, I am passionate about providing unbiased, unconditional, and caring support to clients and their families during pregnancy, labour, birth, and postpartum.
My Mission
I’ll work with you to create a greater sense of empowerment during your birthing process because I believe wholeheartedly that every birthing person deserves to reflect on their reproductive journey with confidence as it is one of the single most transformative experiences in our lives!

Birth Doula for Swedish Hospital
4.8 out of 5: Overall patient satisfaction with Swedish Hospital doulas.
Swedish offers doula services at all four Swedish birth centers in Seattle, Washington, becoming the first in the state to have this type of hospital based doula program and one of only 10 hospitals in the United States. The doulas provide parents-to-be with emotional and physical support before, during and after delivery as non-medical providers and work in collaboration with the nurses, doctors and midwifes to achieve the best possible birth outcomes.
Benefits of Having a Doula
Evidence-based Care
Doulas help make birth better! They nurture, support, and offer expert guidance to families during their pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum time.
According to the 2017 Cochrane Database Systemic Review, “Continuous support in labor may improve a number of outcomes for both mother and baby, and no adverse outcomes have been identified. Continuous support from a person who is present solely to provide support, it not a member of the woman’s own network, is experienced in providing labor support, and has at least a modest amount of training (such as a doula) appears beneficial.”
Research shows that women who use a birth doula are:
Less likely to need Pitocin (a medicine used to induce labor)
Less likely to have a cesarean birth
Less likely to use pain medication
More likely to rate their childbirth experience positively
Are you ready to enhance your experience of pregnancy, birth and postpartum?
I believe every birthing person has the fundamental right to be in control of their own body; whether it’s preparing for pregnancy, going into labour, or entering into parenthood. It’s my greatest passion to make you feel heard and give you compassionate, holistic support that will enable you to achieve the best possible experience.
Even if there are things beyond your control… I’ll work with you to shift the narrative for how you approach the things you can.
