The Postpartum Doula Experience
Complimentary in-person introductory meeting available for all interested clients

The transition into new parenthood can be vulnerable. Postpartum doulas are experts in emotional support, active listening and encouraging new parents to follow their own hearts. I am a compassionate support who understands what new babies, mothers and families truly need during the postpartum period.
Though this transition, I can help with soothing techniques, breastfeeding/bottle feeding, explaining newborn behavior or just help the days go by more smoothly by doing laundry, dishes or preparing simple, nourishing meals. My job is to help every member of the family adjust and settle in to life with a new baby on board.
Studies show that this kind of support can help reduce postpartum mood disorders, improve breastfeeding success and increase confidence for new families.
